Stéphane Lambiel has won the gold medal in the 2005 and 2006 World Championships, the silver medal in the 2006 Turin Olympic Games, the 2005 and 2007 ISU Grand Prix Final and has been champion of Switzerland nine times.
He is the greatest champion and talent of figure ice-skating in Switzerland. His undisputed technical abilities are complemented by an outstanding artistic expression: he is known for his personalized spins, performed with incredible speed.
Unlike many other skaters, Lambiel can spin and jump in both directions, besides doing double axel sequences by changing the direction of the rotation while jumping.
People call him “Little Prince” because of his slender silhouette, his elegance and his extraordinary performance on ice, which make him the most requested athlete in galas and international exhibitions.
